The opportunity to learn about and almost embody a person’s experiences as a way to understand their beliefs really attracted me to this project. I am a sophomore at Patrick Henry College, and, as a journalism major, I love hearing people’s stories. In Your Shoes provides a unique and organized environment for people to look beyond the political and religious divide, learn people’s stories, and connect as fellow human beings. I hope to gain better empathy for people through this project.
